1990 Red Nissan 300ZX

Over 100k on this one. The only original paint was on the hood, RT side front fender and door. Also the front and rear plastic bits are the still the factory SS paint. The rest of the car was CC from the factory. The factory paint was nice and easy to work with. The repainted areas had a PITA hard CC.

1Z CP wipedown.

Glass cleaned.



Exterior:

Foamed

Rinsed

Refoamed

Wheels, tires and wells cleaned.

2BM wash with sheepskin.

Rinse everything.

Paint readings:

Factory paint was in the mid 4s and repainted areas from 7.5 to 9.5.



Polishing:



M105/ZPC mix on pad/white CCS/1500-1700 x2 on factory paint x3-5 on repainted areas.



Ultrafina/blue CCS/1700.



Foamed with Z7

Wash via 2BM and sheep



LSP:

ZFX'd Z5pro x3

Z8



Tires Z-16



Hood defects:

50/50 on rt front fender (factory paint) after 2x of



M105/ZPC mix on pad/white CCS/1500



1x Ultrafina/blue CCS/1700.
