Hey guys, Cruisin the Coast is back this year and one of my customers from last year gave me a call.. This is a 67 Chevelle, one of the cleanest classic cars I have laid eyes on. Sorry I dont have many good afters, it was 4:40 and the car had to be registered by 5pm.. SO he had to run!

Process:

Wash with Meguirs Gold Class

Menzerna IP with Orange Pad on 6

Menzerna FPII with Rotory white pad on 1500 rpms

Used Fk1000 wax for the first time.. Worked very well

And Finally a Detail spray with Griots detail spray

Here is the pics:

Thanks for looking at my pictures..Here is a little treat ..A Vid of the car!!PICT0133.flv - Video - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

wicked clean car. stinkin neighbors. dont they have anything better to do other than mow their lawns when youre washing the car?

That is a beauty - I seen a couple of those at a car show (on my Hols) in Florida.....I love 'em :goodjob

Looks really good.

I would suggest that you rotate your belt 90+ degrees to put the belt buckle away from the paint. I always do that to eliminate the risk of rubbing the metal against the car.

Thanks for a compliments guys..This is not the original paint..The guy had this car restored about 2 years ago..Paint job it self cost alittle over 8k..Its a pleasure to work with..Absolutely no Orange peel. About using menzerna..I LOVE IT.. Never will use anything else..Man, applying final polish 2 with a rotary is so fun and really does a amazing job!

Yeah, why do people mow right after I get done with a detail? That dude with the blower should've realized what you were doing and put that thing away.

My Dad had a Royal Plum '67 Chevelle. I was too young to remember the car,but it looks awesome in the pictures he has of it. It was a rare color! As a result,I've always loved those cars.

Good work!!!!
