Owner called me out to get the car ready for a show. He said it had been recently restored and was already really clean. I don't believe he's had any of his vehicles professionally detailed, mostly just keeps them up himself with dusters and QD's. Most of what he is his very minimally driven and he has a lot! 4 mid 60s Corvettes, three with 427s, one with a 327, plus a '59 with a dual quad 283, along with an L-78 396 '69 Camaro and '66 Chevelle, a '55 and '56 Chevy's, an early 60s bubble top Chevy with a 409 and an A12 440 6 pack Superbee. Not to mention his '41 Ford Truck and '07 Shelby. His L-36 427 Corvette and the Fairlane were show bound. The 'Vette was freshly restored and already on the truck.

Just a few of his toys.

The Fairlane was overall in decent shape, could use a full correction but he didn't seem that interested in getting that done right away due to time constraints. There were a few problem areas I polished hard though.

The engine and interior were both really clean. Interior was vacuumed then it and the engine were wiped down with an ONR dampened MF towel. No dressing, he wanted everything to appear period correct.

The rest of the paint had mostly light to moderate spider swirls, like I said it needs a full correction but it wasn't going to happen today.

I had a bunch of Vette's 57, 58, 63, 80, never had a bubble top, but had a couple of other Chubby's.

56 210, 56 pickup, 68 Impala, 76 Monte Carlo and a 79 Monte Carlo.

More a Ferd guys these days.

Really nice work on those cars, Scott.

That's a nice stable Scott! Looks like you could be his best friend! I've got a few customers like this, old school hard paint! Usually great guy's to do work for! Car guy's! Nice work!

Great Job Scott as usual!! Don't you just love the steering wheels on the older cars---the horn rim is about the size of our steering wheels today. I'll take the 55 Chev if it's a coupe--first car was a 55 4 door--always wanted a coupe.

Wow - my wife is a '64, I think the Ford held up better LOL!

but it didn't have 2 kids!

Great job as usual Scott, and I'm with you on that '66 Chevelle.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the comments. :)

Just a side note: turns out he used to work for the same company my Dad did back in the mid 80s to early 90s. Small world!
