Part of a collection I'm working on 1-2 times a week. Not sure what next week will bring but there's a ton of cool shit coming up.

1935 5 window coupe. Street rod, has a 3 duece 350 (no pics, we didn't do anything to the engine), modern suspension, etc.

ONR wash
Opti-Raser (mild) to spot clay
New Optimum Hyper Compound with an Optimum orange foam  waffle cutting pad and Rupes 21 DA
New Optimum Hyper Polish with an Optimum orange foam waffle cutting pad and HF Da
Opti-Seal
Armor All on tires/wheel wells

1932 Ford V8, first year for the flathead. This is a more original car but the interior was redone with more modern materials.

Swirls...

This is after 1 step with the new Hyper Compound (went back over it again, forgot to get another pic)

Same process as the 5 window coupe other than we used 3D Trim Protectant on the running boards on this one.

Awesome cars! What are your thoughts on the new hyper compound & polish?

The compound has more cut and a better finish, haven't had a chance to directly compare it to M100 yet. Polish has noticeably more gloss and cut. Both still work well on single stage paint too.

Looks like a great place to work!

Well lit and air conditioned!

they both look terrific scott, thanks for being a big part of autopia all these years! for the areas (tighter) that you can't get with the rupes (i take it you love your rupes right? ;) ), what other polishers are you using?

There are areas you can't get to with any kind of polisher, those were done by hand. I have a 2nd Rupes 21 on the way, once its here, I'll have one set up for 5" pads, one for 6" and the HF DA with 3" pads so should be able to just grab a buffer and go and handle nearly everything I run across with minimal effort.

Single stage extravaganza!

Lovely work as always Scott.

Thanks!

Scott, quick question on the new versions, do they clog the spray bottles. I tried the polishes a year ago and the spray nozzle keep clogging even after tipping the bottle upside down and spraying until nothing came out.

I've never had any issues with Hyper Polish clogging the sprayer, occasionally I did with Hyper Compound. Both versions do seem to be very spray-able, no issues thus far.

And to think that you used to do it all by hand!  Awesome work on some classic cars!

Can't imagine going to back to doing hand jobs for a living... ;)

Pretty sure the '32 was repainted at some point and quite well. So far, of the collection, the '32 is my favorite.
