2015 Subaru Outback Premium 2.5
Traded off my 2011 Outback back in July and picked this up as my daily driver.
Averaging 28mpg on my commutes to work.
Sorry no before pics.
I was able to get the first 15 Outback off the truck in my area and made sure the dealer's lot jockeys kept there hands off of it. (success !!)
The paint was in great condition.
Upon delivery I used the following products in prep for the coating of choice.
Products used:
Nanoskin AutoScrub Medium Grade Wash Mitt
Griots Paint Prep
HD Polish / Chemical Guys Hex Logic Blue pad
Multiple IP wipedowns
Eco-Touch Tire Shine
Opti-Coat 2.0 on all paint, chrome, headlights, taillights, and lower black trim.
I plan on coating the rims at some point before winter.(temporarily wearing a coat of FK1)
Fast forward to today and 3700 miles later. Temp was 80 and humid. Turned on some 70s music and went to work.
I had to give the car a wash to remove a week's worth of bug kills and multiple trips to the in laws who live on a 2.5 miles stretch of gravel road.
(I hate gravel roads)
Glass/door jam's got an ONR wipe down mixed at QD strength and tires got scrubbed with Zep Orange Citrus APC 4/1 ratio and a coat of EcoTouch Tire Shine. The EcoTouch is holding up to well. Getting 3-4 weeks out of it.
The black roof rack which is plastic/rubber was given a coat of CQ DLUX as well. I've had it awhile and finally got around to applying it.
Decided to share some pics since it was looking good. The pics don't really show the metallic flake.
