Just placed an order for some Solution Finish and both Collinite Fleet Waxes. I want to try them with winter coming in PA.

Solution Finish is my favorite trim restoration product. Since it's primary use is to restore trim in bad condition, it's hard to say how long it will last. If the trim is in very bad condition, multiple applications are needed. Here's a good example...

This is very bad trim on a Dodge Durango after being cleaned with DP Hi-Intensity APC (undiluted).

I ended up applying two coats the first night of detailing. When I came back the following night, you can see the trim had soaked up a lot of the Solution Finish in certain sections.

Did Solution Finish fail? Absolutely not. The trim was just in such bad shape, that it needed more application. It was so dry and needed more applications.

I applied another coat and it was perfect.

Now I would wait a few days then apply a trim protectant to keep it looking this good.
