12 hr exterior detail on my GFs C320 MB

btw, this is my first ever detail, and pretty much 1st time using RO, other than a little practice piece i posted earlier.

well...

went trough winter and car got kinda..well...see for yourself.

heres some before pics:

and this is what my orange pad pad looked like after the whole process, meguiars products used along with Z2 to finish it off.

calipers painted aluminum silver, new wheels installed

What products did you use and which RO is that one?

i have a griots garage random orbital,

orange pad

i first clayed the car with meguiars claybar and QD

then i used the swirl remover from meguiars

and then after that i hit it with fine cut from meguiars as well

finished it off with zaino Z2.

pleased with the esults, but some of the scratches still show, and i will be pulling those off hopefully soon when i get my hands on some #80

From what I undertand, you used 1 pad with 2 products?? Car looks great though, but I'd suggest using different pads for different polishes

i used an orange pad for one, and then another orange pad for theo ther product.

so 2 orange pads were used

What did you paint the calipers with?

high temp aluminum/silver paint, after cleaning them with wire brush and some delicate sanding here and there
