105/205 shelf live?

it varies upon the temperature/climate that it's stored in (room temperature is ideal). on average about 3-5 years on liquid products. about once a month, it would be a good idea to give them a good shake to help keep them from seperating...

I stockpile products I like, and I've never had a shelf-life issue with products like M105/M205. For that matter, I hardly ever have such issues with *any* products :nixweiss

lol that's good to know, how long was the longest bottle of polishes you've had? specifically 105/205

M105/M205 haven't been out that long, so nobody has any really old bottles of those. But I fully expect mine to be OK for at least a decade. I have scads of compounds and polishes that're at least that old and they're all OK.

I have stuff from the late '80s that's still good to go.

But of course, as soon as I post this somebody'll have weird issues with some product that's only a few years old (Murphy's Law and all that). But it's something I simply don't worry about at all.

What about keeping everything in an un-heated garage?

depending on where you live, it may be a good idea to invest in some milkcrates or comprable carrying units and keep all of your products in a climate controled area for atleast the winter. I for one put everything in my basement so I don't have to worry about products freezing and separating

Scottwax- Heh heh, yeah...I bet shelf-life isn't much of an issue for *you*!

AndtonV- As noted, you don't want products to freeze.
