1000p up keep and a maint.

I put 2 coats of 1000p on before winter (13 Silver Toyota 4R).


 


It has held up ok through touch less washes . Its kinda poopin out on me so Im looking for a easy maint. spray on sealant that offers protection  to make it really pop again. I have been using AW but wondered if you guys have any other suggestions with either a spray was / spray sealant or a combo of both that will protect and maintain.

Fallguy- Huh, I'm kinda surprised the FK1000P needs refreshed.  Doing a regular/non-touchless wash didn't "bring it back", huh?  I only ask since mine continues to hold up so well (maybe it's my Griot's Car Wash, that stuff seems especially gentle on the FK1000P).


 


 Being me,  I'd just redo it or try a "related" QD like FK425 or FK146.  But to get to your Q, Garry Dean's Beyond Infinity Sealant seems compatible.  I haven't tried doing a whole FK1000P'ed vehicle with it, but I've done limited areas (jambs, etc.) that had FK1000P on them and I didn't notice any issues at all.  The BIS is very, *very* easy/user-friendly IMO.
 
I have 2 gallons of 425 here so maybe I'll just do that til it warms up a bit and I can put another coat of 1000p on it. 


 


I think the 425 is a detail spray and has polymer in it. 
 
Fallguy- Yeah, that's the stuff.  I go back and forth between FK425 and FK146, like 'em both.  They only last between washes though.
 
Odd thing here .. My Civic was done with 1000p last Oct and the next day I did my neighbours Fit with M21. The fit sits out 24/7 the Civic under cover. Fit roof still beads a bit...Civic nada .
 
Jestzn- Yeah, it can be tough to predict/figure out why the same stuff can behave so differently on various vehicles, or even different panels of the same one.
 
This is disheartening news.   I figured the extra effort of using a paste wax would be worth it if there was extended protection, but looks like I would have been better off getting Powerlock with it's much friendlier application process.

I feel M21 is far under rated on here .
