100 degree days return just in time for a dark blue Ford F-250 detail!

Still beats trying to do this when it is 35 degrees.

This particular F-250 has been sitting outside for months, the owner is doing contract work in Afghanistan. He had expected to return home around Labor Day and wanted it cleaned up before he arrived. Apparently his arrival has been delayed but he still wanted me to come out and do the work (we had scheduled it about 6 weeks in advance) and his brother might have me go over the exterior before the new return date in December.

Despite enough dog hair to make my own dog inside the truck, it wasn't that bad in terms of stains or grime. Once it was vacuumed (took a good 30 minutes) the rest of the interior work went pretty quick. Due to the time it has spent outside, the exterior was the real time killer. I did end up using the hose and Optimum Power Clean on the door jambs. Lots of mud up in there. Less claying than expected though. Just one polishing step, the owner uses this truck for work so protection was more important than perfection.

ONR wash (ONR, Power Clean and hose on door jambs)

Clay Magic blue clay

Optimum Hyper Polish and an Optimum microfiber polishing pad and my PC 7424 XP

Optimum Opti-Seal to protect

Optimum Metal Polish on the exhaust tips

Armor All on tires/fenderwells

3D Trim Restorer on the exterior trim and mirrors

Woolite/water at 20:1 dilution to clean the vinyl and leather

3D Carpet Shampoo at 16:1 dilution to clean the carpets

Optimum Protectant Plus to dress the vinyl

Duragloss #221 to dress the leather

Just to get the mud out of the jambs and the bottom of the doors. Fender wells were mud free so I am guessing it was power washed after mudding but they forgot the mud that gets inside the jambs. Probably been a year since I've needed to rinse anything off.

sweet truck, great detailing job look as good as new

Thanks, y'all!

I'll take heat over rain any day. I can work in the heat, usually don't if it rains. 103 today, we were on blacktop in the sun all day. Just drank a ton of liquids to stay hydrated.

Man, I feel your pain! I'd love to just say no to big rigs like that, but I'd lose 75% of my customers. It sure looks good, I would love to see the owners face when he sees that.
