I was very excited to get to work on this one of a kind factory painted Signal green Audi R8 V10. This car doesn't have very many miles on it, but it does have a few factory defects that needed addressed.

We started with the wheels using Sonax Full Effect which is a Safe and pH balanced wheel cleaner.

This wheels cleaner is designed to turn a redish color when it reacts with the Iron particles of the brake dust.

Using our Ez Detail brush we were able to get inside the wheel barrels real good.

After all of the wheels were cleaned, We then Pre-rinsed the car down to knock off any loose/heavy debris.

Next we gave it a foam bath

Brought the car to clay bar and tape up

then David took the air force blaster and blew all of the water out of the crevices while I dried the panels with a microfiber towel.

Using my Griot's 6in DA and Cyan LC pad and M105 I started on the soft black painted section.

While I was working on the rear section of the car, David was cutting the paint with the Megs Microfiber cutting disc and D300

here is a section of the Driver Quater panel that David did a 50/50

Slight haze left behind from the cutitng disc and D300 which will be polished out, but overall the correction was great

For the Taillights, I used a Rotary buffer with 3in Gloss-it BP and a Cyan 4in pad with M105 followed with M205 on a Tang pad.

here are some scratches on the edge of the rear wing

Making our way around the car I chose the Griots 6in DA with the Microfiber DA system

Some scratches were a little deeper and required a little more cut, so for this i used a Surbuff pad and M105 compound

After cutting and polishing (polished with black LC pad and M205) the car, we pulled it back out side to wash off and remove any dust and compound from the jams.

Keep up the great work gentleman, this tag team should become a partnership! I hardly ever say that, but you guys look like you having to much fun making the green! Enjoy the coin. I agree Barry, Eric you are putting out quality stuff and it is good to see. Love this client as he does things with "tightness" garage/cars and btw those carbon fiber HRE's are north of 11k not for the faint of wallet!! unique car and color(Colour for the UK guys) great job.

Thanks Bob,

You have always been a role model for me and kept me reaching for a higher level. also I believe those HRE's were $22k.........:nervous2: just saying :D

Incredible work there guys, the green is such a sick color and the depth is all there and then some more.

I always enjoy seeing your write-ups, thank you very much for the inspiration. Hopefully I can get some good pics like yours when I correct my customer's SL65 Black Series.

Fantastic work Eric!

Exceptional work on that Audi. That is one cool color, not a typical green.

I look forward to your other write ups!
