I had a client drop off his '06 H2 truck with me today and I just had to stick my wife in it. Those of you that have met her know that she makes me look tall...4'10" with some boots on and 90lbs. soaking wet. The truck just engulfs her but I can't tell you how many times I've seen women her size driving Hummers, Excursions and the like!!!

Be scared of the small ones..... :nervous2:

The steering wheel looks bigger than her!

My wife is 4'8", but I have a small pickup truck so she doesnt look as tiny. Makes me wanna go to a GM dealer and have her sit in an H2 just to get a laugh.

Beautiful wife you got there!

:lol

Great shots, Mike!

In the second shot, she looks like she's on a mission to pick the kids up from soccer :woot2: .

THANKS guys for the kind words on the Missus!! :) I am a lucky man indeed.

I just could not stop laughing when I saw her behind the wheel of that thing. :har:

On the flip side.. whenever we respond to a mtor vehicle collison, the cars are small, yet the drivers are morbidly obese, making it a challenge to extricate!

I have never figured that one out. I've seen some absolutely huge people stuff themselves into really small cars. No way can that be comfortable. :nixweiss

5'8" with a good set of work boots on. ;)

Gonzo0903 it's funny you say that because I've seen more than one "large" person squeezed into a Civic coupe or something of similar size. :nixweiss

Trust me, it ain't. I am 6'3.5" and some mid sized vehicles don't have enough room for me. I have had cases where a car's steering wheel does not allow me to slide in comfortably. My biggest complaint is usually legroom/seat travel.

However, there are some small cars that I can fit in with no problem whatsoever (e.g. Minis, Mercedes SLKs). However, there are some sports cars (e.g. Camaros/Firebirds) that do not have enough room to the point where I am forced to recline the seat at an extreme angle in order to have any measure of comfort.

However, I have seen some people either taller than me or larger than me squeeze into an Aveo.

1Clean: Nice pic. :D

What's strange is I am nearly 6' 1" and drive a Trans Am... I slide the seat almost 100% forward. Everyone thinks it's strange but it's not uncomfortable for me at all... and it seems to give me a lot smoother leverage on the clutch.

5'-8"? Hair would add another few inches.

Great pics! My wife also fits easily in the overhead storage compartment on an airplane at 4'-11" and 92 lbs.
