08 vette paint correction help

I havent seen the car yet, but this is what happened. I sent my detailer out to do this car completed with no client complants. At this point I never saw the finished results. That evening it starts to rain the wife put the car cover on it trapping the moisture between the paint, and the cover. When the cover was removed It had serious water spotting. Black none the less. I sent the same detailer out to correct it, and he could not remove the spots completely. These are my questions, Is the chevy clearcoat hard, or soft ? what would be your process for removing them without cutting into the clear? Im going out to finish this one, and this is what I have in mind. 1 A complete rinse, 2 wash, 3m perfect it 3 clay bar entire car, wash, and dry, Polish with 3m perfect it 3 blue polishing foam pad, and machine glaze, If the problem is fixed wax with my P/C, and tech yellow, seal with zaino. Does anyone see any improvments with my process, or possible mistakes ? :work:
 
You aren't going to apply #26 before Zaino, are you? Zaino wont bond to it. I wouldn't top Zaino with #26 either.



Athough vette clear is mega hard, it strangely mars very easily also. Use caution with the clay or you may wind up with more customer complaints.



FWIW, a couple of months ago I used poliseal on an orange pad via PC on a vette and this was how the swirls reacted YouTube - Crazy Evil Laugh

I have heard this problem before with the newer Vettes.





The newer black Vettes are softer than the previous C5 ones. It however seems the quality of the clears have gone down a bit. The paint is more spoungy, but still harder to polish out compared to regular clears.



The 3M compound will remove the water spots. Last year I had a few of them that needed water spots removed.
