I am looking at making a purchase tonight at CMA. Just found the email about %15 off while cleaning out the Inboxof my email. In the next month I will be buying a PC. I plan on buying the pad kit from CMA. Now what else should I look at getting. So far I am thinking of 303 for interior and Klasse AIO. I have Meguiars golg class shampoo and a Mothers clay bar.

My cars are as follows:

'95 Jet black BMW 318ti Club Sport (swirls, scratches and rockchips)

'98 Dark Blue Met. Volvo V70 AWD Turbo

'87 White Volvo 745 Turbo

'70 Red Volvo P1800

The V70 and 318ti are in good condition, the v70 has swirl marks from the dealer trying to buff out some scratches. The 318ti has swirl marks, and minor scratches and chips. Both are daily drivers rain snow ect, 318ti mine and the V70 the wife. The other Volvo has new paint on the tailgate and the hood but the rest of the car is quite oxidized. The P1800 was a concours winner back in 95.

What products should I consider for polish, wax and wheel cleaning. Right now I am concerned with getting the oxidation off the white car and really shining up the two dark cars.

Should I get 3M SSR for the dark cars? There are just too many choices. Any help would be great. thanks

Hurry up, I think the deal ends today!!

Broad question, but here's something:

Polish: the 3M SMR is good stuff, but might not get off a lot of oxidation. I use 3M FI-II, which isn't available on CMA, I think.

Wax: Get the Klasse SG if you're gonna get the AIO

Wheels: Einmann Fabrik Hi-Intensity Cleaner is the concensus here

Remember to get a good quick detailer (under the 5 Minute Detail section). Einmann Fabrik Clear Pearl and the Eagle One thing are popular. I use Final Inspection, but for some odd reason, others don't like it very much.

Get a gallon of Eimann Fabrik High Intensity. You can use it for cleaning wheels, deep cleaning tires, and even engine detailing.

If you are getting the Klasse AIO, get the SG as well.....you won't be disappointed.

I really like 303 for the interior as well.

You could throw in some towels, and make sure you have enough applicators.

You can get 3M polishes locally. Try your local NAPA autoparts store, they carry a pretty extensive line of 3M products.

Buy everything!!!:D

Make a list of what you need like wheel cleaner, carpet cleaner, leather conditioner, etc etc etc

Then go to the site and check everything out....Most of the products are way above average so you will not go wrong.

EF HI is a definate and should be in everyones arsenal along with the spot remover that stuff works miracles.

Follow Showroom's advice. I would definitely look into a gallon of a quick detailer as well. The Clear Pearl is excellent.

Completed this morning 11-22-2010, this car is completely wrapped in clearfilm sans the decklid & wing.

The car has seen duty as a "Dad/momobile.............. pretty cool way for the kids to go to school I would think, thus there was quite a bit of cleaning required to get the car back to the shape the owner wanted.

At the start of the job.

Dry trim.

Just a bit of wax in the leading edges............. all the seams of the film would have a "Wax coating" (lol).

I was under a time crunch as I have a mobile job going at the same time so thin on the pics.

Bob shows tightness as usual

Did you have to steam the leather to clean up the rear seats? Looked pretty trashed to me in those pics.

Looks better than it most likely did when it was new. When I was a wee one I wouldn't have minded my mum dropping me off at school in that.

Are those 20" wheels?

How do you let kids in the back of a super car? Pack 'em up into the SUV!

That was a great turn-around Bob. The interior work was quite impressive to say the least. The finish was so wet looking, it looked like you poured olive oil all over the finish.

Love that car. Great job again Bob!:drool5:
