'07 Corvette... Yearly Detail....

DETAILKING

I still feel that it's difficult gauge the accuracy of their results. Many of us gave them an "A" for effort, and after reading the notes on some of the products after week 5, it shows that they really are trying....

Just some things I picked up that I thought were interesting...

- after 3-5 weeks, most carnubas seem to be depleted

- the two most durable ones seems to be blitz and even more collonine, which seems to be right on. Collonine is one durable carnuba.....I found it difficult to use and work with though when I tried it on my boat.

- The "interesting" similarity in results between finish first and liquid glass, and also wizzards and race glaze. At least these guys are really paying attention!!!!

-and of course, the polymer systems holding up their durability.

NU FINISH surprises me though, I get water beading from it for about 2-3 months.

One of my regular customers. Considering that I only detail this car once a year, in the spring, it really wasn't that bad!

The paint was in good shape. Water spots came off with claybar and one pass with M205 worked great on the minor swirls.

Bill.......................

Very nice job there Bill.

I don't know what was worse. The water spots or the interior. You took care of both with great results.

I like how the 205 finished down with the orange pad.:Dancing Dot:

I didn't really need M105/Orange, but M205/White wasn't quite enough... So I just kind of improvised!
