I detailed my friend's car yesterday. The paint was covered with medium and heavy swirls, lots of etching from bird bombs and rain, and several deep scratches that would require wet sanding (which I would not even try to do, so I left those alone). He was so amazed by the results that he swore he won't take his car to the car wash ever again. Since he lives in an apartment, he will be doing ONR. He is my third Autopian convert :spot. Here is my process with some before and after pics. Forgot to take pics of the interior.

Exterior:

Washed with Ultima Paint Guard Wash and Lowes GS.

Dried with Pakshak Waffle Weave MF towel

Wheels: Sonus Rim Bright and Dawn wash

Clayed with Clay Magic

Polished using UDM with Menzerna IP and LC orange pad x 2

Polished with Menzerna Micro Polish and LC gray pad

Final rinse to remove all the dust from IP followed by ONR (for demonstration purpose)

Applied Danase Wet Glaze via UDM with LC blue pad

Applied Clearkote Carnauba Moose Wax via UDM and LC red pad

Tires: Sonus Tire & Bumper Dressing Gel

Cleaned windows and mirrors with Meguiars NXT Glass Cleaner and Pakshak Waffle Weave Micro Fiber Glass Towel

Interior:

Vacuumed entire interior

Removed stains from carpet with 303 Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner

Ultima Interior Shampoo with Ultima Autospa Dual-Foam Interior Applicator

Sonus Total Eclipse via Sonus SFX Professional Applicator

Sealed interior with Ultima Interior Guard Plus

Total Time: 11 hours

Awesome job :2thumbs: ....any interest in doing my daughters tC?

Think this will buff out...? LOL

Oh man! I hope she came out alright from that. All it needs is some Zaino :D

nice work! the tC's black sand pearl paint is really dynamic... in direct and bright light the metallic flake pops out, while in the shade or at night... it's a glossy, wet and slick looking ride.
