A new X3 with 10,000. Has been repaired and the paint looked good. There was little to no overspray on the paint but the fender liners had a lot on them. Hard to capture defects most of them were hologramming from the body shop buffing it. The main problem was huge gobs of sap all over!

Process:

Exterior

Nxt wash

Stoners tarminator for sap removal (didn't do much it was so thick)

Plastic razor blade to remove sap

Claymagic clay (really had a tough time with the sap)

wash again

dry

EC/OP via yellow LC @ 1500-1700 (Finished very well)

FK2180 to protect.

Wheels - Megs WB with spoke brush then nxt wash with MF

Tires and fenders - EO A2Z and scrubbed

Tires and trim protected with Megs Nxt Tech Protectant

Interior

Vac

Woolite/water wipe down

Protect everything with FK108

Glass got IG with MF

Had to extract the passenger rear carpet. It was soaked. I'm not sure from what. Perhaps the sunroof was left open. Used the LGCM for extraction. Appears to have been wet for sometime now.

Nice comeback, the Fk#2180 looks real nice.

Thanks. I'm still using a sample Thomas gave me. So far I've done 3 cars with it and they all looked great. I will be ordering a gallon when the time comes.

Hate to see such a nice vehicle get abused by a slob like that. :help:

But on the upside, it sure looks great now!

Very wet and glowing. Awesome work on that interior, my mother has an 06' Black on Black X3 and the interior doesn't seem to take any dressing very well. Looks like you got it perfect. Great job.

That texture on the dash and some of the door panels sux. It's very rough and is very hard to dress. The FK108 didn't add a huge difference but enough of a difference to clean it up some. Thanks for the compliments.

Great looking detail. Interior and exterior are looking mighty nice. But a 6sp. manual on a that? Interesting

Fantastic job John!!!!! :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

A little APC and a toothbrush will get the break pedal clean. :)

Thomas, Thanks for the :2thumbs: I had to deliver the car Monday morning and knew it was going to get dirty from me driving it so I didn't bother. I did wipe the floor mat off when I got out though. I knew someone was going to point out the dirty pedals.

Mr. Icon - I was :shocked when I jumped in to take it home Friday evening. It makes it more enjoyable to drive though. :bigups

Steve - It is ugly but it could be worse, it could look like an Aztek :nervous2:

Thanks Scott. He actually said he is going to try and keep it cleaner. We'll see how long it lasts. He actually got a nasty rock chip in the windshield on the ride home from work yesterday. It is starting to crack too so it can't be filled. I just applied aquapel too! :aww:
