Final Touch

While I wait to hear back about one of my vans that has just been stolen I thought I put up a post about a Mercedes that we corrected the paint on last week.
(we have GPS tracking in the van so it's all quite exciting and the police should be on the scene any minute)
Anyway, a regular customers fine lady somehow managed to loose control of her Mercedes in the garage at home and smashed up the whole front end under the house, Ouch...
The headlights alone were $5000 each. 6 weeks in the paint shop and it came back to him. They'd done a good paint job but polishing is not really their specialty.
Polishing really isn't their specialty.
Shoot, the vans on the move- I wonder whether it's my man, the Police or the dodgy little punks who knicked it that are driving.... This will be interesting.
Well we used Meguiars 105 initially on the deepest damage and followed with 205 on the yellow pad with the G220. It took a while but we got a decent result
No sunshine shots unfortunately, as you can see it was pretty late when I finished.
Uh-Oh it's stopped again and I can't get in touch with my guy any more... I hope he's OK.
No, wait a minute...
He's with the Police and the van is recovered, aparently it left the property so he followed it and rang the Police to say it was on the move so they scrambled.
Whoot, it's a happy ending I think although I'm yet to see what's been done or taken from it.
Anyway back to the Merc, I took a pretty amateur video with a little Flip video that 've just been given. It's a bit wobbly but anyway here goes. Oh but before we do, there were a couple of deep scratches on the trunk lid that I didn't get out completely. 2 Scratches on the whole car and I managed to accidently pick both of them up in the zoom of the video. Oh well, there's always next time.
