The following three cars were done in one day from 9am to about 10pm. All three were just mini details with no paint corrections. The VW was in the worst shape having sat outside for a loooong time collecting massive amounts of tree sap and tar. The Lambo and the Maser had very very minor swirls. No corrections = no before pictures.

Washed, cleaned wheels thoroughly, the VW got clayed due to its extreme contamination. All the tires were dressed with Z16. Interiors were all vacuumed, cleaned with Pristine Clean. The VW required the most attention and was cleaned with Folex.

The owner was really curious about the Zymol waxes and especially Vintage. I think he is strongly considering Vintage purchase.

Here are all the afters:

2006 (Not sure of the year) Volkswagon Beetle wearing Collinite IW845:

I didn’t get to take any nice pics of this since it was 10pm and pitch black outside.

Questions and/or comments welcomed as always! :)

So, you did the Bentley, Ferrari, Maserati, and a Lambo in what 2 days? You suck. Those are beyond gorgeous cars and you did a fantastic job on all of them. The beetle looks very wett as inov8ter pointed out. You don't see too many Lambos in silver, they are all in those bright *** colors. In silver, and with your touch that car and all the other ones look awesome. Good job.

All the cars were completed over three days at roughly 12-13 hours each day! :) My body is still recovering!

yeah I bet. Hell I used to polish one car with a pc and I can barely move my back for a week. I can imagine how you feel.

Did you use anything on the woodgrain panels on the Maserati? It looks really good. I have a few clients with woodgrain in their interiors and I just clean them with a damp MF, but I don't top it with anything cause I don't know what to put on it.

Hi all...well I am the fortunate guy who has the '94 green Bentley posted elsewhere, these cars and also the Swaters blue '97 Ferrari 355 and '88 Rosso Ferrari Mondial also posted by Chris earlier (both within last three weeks I think). I just want to echo what you all are saying about his work. It has been a pleasure to not only have him do cars in his neck of the woods, but also to come down to my home for three days to let him perform his magic here.."Picasso with a rotary polisher" HAHAHA..from a client point of view, Chris' business model is to be envied and emulated. He was at our home for three days, worked his back off - literally - and was a pleasure to have. He always was available for a question both from me and friends who came by. I have learned so much that will help me keep these art works that are temporarily in my posession in the manner in which they should be.

As I mentioned, I am extremely fortunate to have these cars but also would be just as happy a person without them. They are great fun and I feel an obligation to share them with others...how many times does a 12 year old kid get to see a Lambo...I like to show the cars, have people learn about them but also try to keep things in perspective and not let them rule my life..Just a few thoughts about that stuff which I hope you don't mind..

Anyway, I like being on this board and look forward to learning more though once you have been with the master, I think Chris is the best information source..look forward to being around..

If anyone is in the Virginia area, there is a "Classics on the James" car show in Richmond on 9/16. This year Ferrari is the featured marque..and there will be 50 Ferraris there including my two, plus my Bentey. It is put on by the Central Virginia Car Club and is a BIG event.lotsa fun..people caravaning F cars from DC/MD and NC ..from all over the region..come on out..

Cheers..have a great weekend all..

Chris (another one)

PS...the wood on the Maserati is very much sealed and shiny/smooth. No treatment woud actually touch the wood..probably just Final Detail or something like that unless it was really dirty..same with the Bentley
