Hey all. Well you guessed it another Black vehicle with really bad deep marring, buffer trails, scratches, etc. Paint has plenty of thickness so I was able to really dig in deep to remove the defects. The owner only wanted the front end buffed out because he is getting a clear bra installed. After showing the owner the difference I made just with the front end we are going to schedule the car to get back into my hands to get the rest of the car up to snuff.
Sorry no full car pics, I didnt take any and was somewhat pressed for time. I spent 4 hours on the front end alone consisting of the front bumper, hood, both fenders and side mirrors. I will get the car back in probably two weeks from now. Just thought I would share these pics.
This paint was rock hard and the deep marring was a PITA to get out completely to my satisfaction.
Final Process:
I washed the entire car, then only clayed the front end.
HT-EC with 6.5 wool pad @ 1500rpms
HT-EC with Orange Cut pad @ 1600rpms
Menz IP/106ff (60/40) with white polish pad @ 1500 rpms
Menz 106FF with grey finish pad @ 1500rpms ->1000rpms
No wax since clear bra was going on.
