'04 Avalanche - 1Z MP

I am really liking 1Z MP. It has lightened the color of my Dark Blue Metallic Avalanche. Areas of direct sunglight / edges are definately lighter.

Previous wax was VM. VM looked wetter but 1Z MP looks deeper / richer. Just a matter of preference I guess. The only issue I have with MP is that it's a little harder to remove, especially when it's a little thick. Just gotta learn the right technique.

From one Avy to another nice job! You keep a clean truck. How long does it take you to detail? Mine is an 02 cladded. Don't make fun!

Next time apply MP thin on your pad. You will be able to remove a lot easier. Great looking Truck.

Maybe its just me, but I would probably classify MP as more of a polish than VM, which is more of a glaze IMO. I haven't had any removal problems using the PC and working it for quite a bit. Anyway though, the truck looks fantastic and in the end, thats all that matters!

great job.....i've never had a prob with taking off 1z MP or PP yet....UPP can be a hassle at times tho....the thing i like about 1z stuff is that you can take them off before they fully break down.

Yeah, I don't think I worked the MP for long enough and ended up with some high / thick spots. Wasn't really a big deal. Just a little more work.

You should have seen what it looked like before. It hadn't even been washed in over a month. This was just a vaccuum, wash & wax deal. It still took a couple of hours.
