this was kind of a bang up job. just getting the car ready to sell. it's going to suck to see this car gone. the car was absolutely filthy because the owner goes from city-to-city since he's in law school. that and he never has time to clean it. this was last week so i'll do my best at describing the process.
wheels:
simple green 2:1
advanced auto tire cleaner on tires
duragloss 901
lots of brushes
grout sponge
nascar water based tire dressing
paint:
duragloss 901 - 2 bucket method
spot clay with meg's fine
collinite 476s - first time with wax, love it
different grout sponge
pretreat bird stuff with PC cut 10:1
trim and fenderwells:
clean with OPC (new version) 10:1
dress with OPP (new version) trim only
Interior:
wipe EVERYTING down with woolite/water 10:1 (dirt everywhere)
clean leather seats the same way
OPP (new version) on leather and dash
windows got Stoner's invisible glass
carpet got brushed and vacuumed
matts got brushed and vacuumed, driver's matt was completely filthy
Misc:
cleaned exhaust tips with never dull
quick wipe down on engine bay (no pictures)
remove stickers
remove adhesive w/ denatured alcohol 10:1
i think that's about it. Note: no correction was done because like i said, the car is being sold, time constraints, and the owner didn't want to pay for correction.
he let me have the car for 2 days, so i had a little fun with it anyhow
Before Interior:
After Interior:
(sorry mats weren't put in yet, didn't want to get them dirty)
(also, no clutch pedal cover, such a PITA to get on)
Before Exterior:
After Exterior:
Here's an HDR I put together, I still need a lot of practice, but I'm getting better at them:
Here's an old shot from when i detailed it while back. I've only done a full correction on this car once, and I didn't get pictures:
Thanks for Reading!
