This detail was completed on Friday. It’s a 2003 Mercedes SL500 with around 12k miles and in non-metallic black. The day was cloudy with no sun breaking through at all. The car was pretty rough with a good amount of swirls and deep random marring. I did what I could and got the finish about 90%-95% better. There was a lot of wax build up on the clear bra lines all over the car which took me a good bit to remove and not all of the lines were able come clean. Total Time Spent: 11 hours

Process:

Wash and Clay

HT EC @ 1800rpms with Yellow Cut Pad

Menz SIP @ 1800rpms with White Polish Pad

Menz 106FF @ 1800-> 1500rpms with Blue Finesse Pad

Clear Bra Polished with Menz 106FF @ 1500rpms with Blue Finesse Pad

Re-Washed

LSP = Pinnacle Souveran

Wheels cleaned with Wheel Brightener 2:1

Tires Dressed with Z16

Interior was simple wipe-down, vacuum, and leather conditioned with Z10

Questions and Comments are welcomed as always :)

The owner has a Porsche GT2 which I have to schedule in the coming weeks ;)

wow as usual the level of correction is amazing

when using SIP with a white pad are you still doing correction or are you refining the finish? i am surprised u were not using a orange pad, any reason why u went with a polishing pad?

:cooleek: Impressive, very impressive!!! Cannot believe you didn't wipe it dry. :eek: That car is sooooo dripping wet!!!

Awesome correction and a flawless final result. Your work is always top notch. I really enjoy a click and brag with dramatic before and afters. Thanks for posting. :wow:

Beautiful work! Great reflections. I like that we got the direct light reflections that show all of the correction work plus we got some nice cloudy day reflections, which I think always look incredible, though don't show the flaws. Thanks for sharing!
