I did these two back in early May while I was still in Buffalo. The CTS is my g/f's mothers car and the Cavalier was my g/f's (Stay tuned to find out why it was)

First up the CTS, its an 03 or 04. She used Zaino on it about 2 years ago. Other than weekly washes it hasn't seen any protection. Lots of hazing from improper wash techniques and drying with a terry towel. I have tried to teach her better techniques, she at least uses a Eurow mitt instead of a regular $1 sponge. She also dries with a mf now! :spot

Process

Nxt Wash

Claymagic clay/lube

IP @6 with orange LC

FPII @6 with white LC

FMJ by hand

Megs Hot Shine on tires and fender liners

Next up the '02 Cavalier.

My g/f bought it new and never knew about car care. She can change her own oil but knew nothing about car washing let alone drying. So I found it 4 years later after much neglect (We started dating in March 06).

Process

Same as CTS, except used Wellworth Dress it right(something like that) in fender liners

Thats all the afters, but you see the turn around.

About a month later the car looked like this

It was parked in front of her house on the street. You can see the weather condtions. It was 8am, straight street. The minivan driver (female) moved it 40feet! It is a 30mph zone. She told the officer "I don't know where it came from!" Luckily, her and her 3 kids were not injured. The insurance adjuster told my g/f "The car is in really good condition" and she got extra money for it!

Her new car will be posted in another thread to follow later.

nice job.

yeah i cant stand minivans. 9/10 times when something stupid happens ... a minivan, around here anyways...

Glad no one was in there. I love that... moved the dam car PARKED 30ft.. I dont know where it came from my ***!

Yea she must have been going 30 mph to move that thing 40 feet!! Did she not notice it hanging from the front of her car those 40 feet haha.

You're killing me with the suspense, what car did she get to replace it?

BTW: Great job on the details!!

I'm guessing a Ferrari

Everyone, thanks for the replies. The Cavi (or cadaver as Scott perfectly describes it) was parked on the street pulled as close to the side as possible. The woman just plowed into it, she was probably turned around yelling at her kids. The tow truck had to rip the cars apart, lol. That picture was after they were seperated.
