This is my first detail of my new car. It took almost 6 hours to complete it.
I used
Griots car wash
Griots best of show wax
Turtle wax F21 protectant on the trim and bumper clading
Greased Lightning orange blast on the wheels
Black Magic tire wet on the tires( i didn't like this product as the tire shine lasted only 3 days)
Griots undercarriage spray
Invisible Glass on the windows
Rain X treatment on the windows

sorry i didn't take a pic of the driver side door or seat

Wow -the car looks nice and shiny - Black trim looks good. Have fun maintaining all that black trim.

Some of the pics need to be flipped before posting - this keeps us from having to turn our heads to see the picture.

this was my first pic post. i will make sure that the pics that needed to be flip gets flipped. sorry for making ur head hurt cause of my side way pics. the body clading was the hardest part to clean as i got some wax residue on it.

after a couple rain cycles the turtle wax f21 protectant did streak. Other than that it was test product to find the best one on the body cladding. The search for higher product to use one the body cladding as i did like the (excuse the term painted look) on them. If u have any suggestions for me so i can try this in the spring.

For exterior cladding, you can try PB's Trim Restorer or 303. They do not seem to streak when it rains. Mothers Back to Black will streak after a rain if you do not buff it off extremely well after application.

Nice car. Ultima Tire & Trim Guard is another one that has excellent staying power. (Please forgive the product promo but I had to mention it because it is perfect for large plastic areas and it's my site. :))

Do you live on a dirt road? :passout:

I remember when we were looking for a house. I didn't care how nice the house was, if it was on a dirt road I said no thanks.

I feel for you guys that deal with a lot of dirt roads. I have a client that has a house in New Mexico and he tells me how great it is out there EXCEPT he can't keep his cars clean because there are so many dirt roads. :(

I do not live on a dirt road but in the city. I just used a local park for a nice back drop on my car. I will look into that Ultima tire &trim guard for my body cladding

Nice ride!

No matter what you decide on for trim protection...the application is just as important...apply the product...then use a clean cotton or MF towel to buff the excess and even the product out..this in most cases keeps the product from running.

The trim stuff that Troy suggested is good also PB TR is another:D
