1 Clean WS6
Detailing Rottweiler
Hello all!!
The guys at one of our local tuner shops, RP Motorsport (www.rpmotorsport.com), gave me a call to come detail one of their beasts. It's actually a neat situation as I had detailed this Camaro back in the fall when they first delivered it. The customer brought the vehicle back in for some service and another tune (does the tuning process ever end with forced induction???) and REQUESTED that I come detail it again...pretty darn cool!!!
It's an 02 Chevy Camaro SS with a 382 cubic inch LS6 motor and a custom built RP Motorsport twin turbo set-up. This thing is a straight up BEAST with 930 rear wheel horse power!!!! :bow :bow That number was achieved running 17 pounds of boost and 100+ octane race fuel. What kills me about the car is that if you looked at it you'd mistake it for a run of the mill stock SS....but to hear it idle and smell that sweet smell of race fuel....you'd know something was up!! If you have a late model GM vehicle and want it to make some SERIOUS power these guys are the gentlemen you need to call!! Enough of the chit-chat...here are the pics of the detail!!
Enjoy,
Mike
The detail:
Wash with Meg's Gold Class Shampoo
Polish with Meg's #80 Speed Glaze with a Meg's 8006 pad and my PC set at 5. The car had some very, very light swirling that this combo knocked out.
Seal with Poorboy's Natty's Paste Wax by hand with a foam applicator. This is a good carnuba...easy to apply and remove...good shine (not much depth though) and no problem's in direct sunlight. :bigups
