Gave my WRX a waxxing yesterday. 3 coats of Z5, 1 one of Z2.

These pictures are from "Dyno Day" today. I got 201 torque/202 hp.

All this zaino is getting to my head. I need to get my hands on this stuff already. Your car looks really nice and deep.

Third shot down says it all...you could advertise for Zaino...pick which car has had Zaino. Obvious. Nice job. Drive safe.

Nothing better than a clean black car. Looks great!! All the guys next to you must have ticked that your car makes theirs look really bad! :getdown

What are stock WRX's putting down for HP...to the wheels that is?

Stock WRX's to the wheels is around 170.

Than you are putting down some very impressive numbers. Where is the 4-wheel dyno? I assume somewhere in Maine?...judging by the license plates. What do you have for mods?

In Portland, Maine theres a place called F1Dyno http://www.f1dyno.com.

I have minor power mods... just a manual boost controller and exhaust. I like how it runs now.

*Edit- Wow I just found pics of the Dyno Day on their website and they got this one of mine! Looks incredible! :2thumbs:

Bug eye FTW! Looks awesome . . . that's my favorite color of the bug eye era.

If you're interested in more mods (or just making the most of what you already have), you might start investigating the OpenECU project. For the cost of an OBD cable (about $80), you can get tuning access to the stock ECU. It's not for the faint-hearted . . . . nothing quite like having the ability to destroy your motor with a few keystrokes. I still haven't gotten brave enough to do my own tuning, but I have used the free logging software (ECUExplorer) to snoop around and do some datalogging.

Even if you don't do your own tuning and have a pro do it for you (which, since you have an AWD dyno nearby, might be an option), you can use OpenECU and Enginuity software as your tuning tools . . . big savings over Cobb's StreetTuner, or dealing with ECUTEK.

looks great! allthough for such a flamboyant car, it seems like it would be a little more powerful than that. My v6 camry is not to far off :p

Dyno it, and put it through a 4wd setup and we'll see how much you're making at the wheels. :xyxthumbs

Ahh, yes compared to most modded WRX's, mine has little power... but WRX's have soooo much potential for power... I just don't have the money to buy into that stuff right now :o

Are you serious? :wall Your horsepower rating is at the crank, not at the wheel like these guys are posting...there is a HUGE difference!!! You V6 Camary wouldnt stand a chance again that WRX and not to mention the handling. WRX FTW...hands down! :sign

BTW, what did that STi next to you run?

A stock Rex is in another category in comparison to a V6 Camry...

Great job on that black! I love the New Age bug-eyes! How do you find the paint is holding up for chips?
