Good friend of mine from work. Had some issues with rust I believe, so he sprayed some inhibitor and it accidentally over sprayed on the fender, if I recall correctly.
So not knowing what else to do he hit it with some 1500 grit and that's where I come in.
I took a lot of pics, but haven't thrown down on the Photobucket Pro for unlimited bandwidth so I am open to suggestions for photo hosting before I do.
Dawn foam/dwell/2 bucket wash
Meg's Wheel Brightener (in it's 3rd new spray bottle in as many uses :lol)
Mother's Clay with Meg's Last Touch
Meg's APC in fender wells
Daytona Speed Brush
Face brush
Tire brush
Griot's RO
5.5 Cyan Pad/ Megs 105
5.5 LC Yellow on rear quarter/Megs 105
Tang 205
M34 for polish removal
303 Aerospace on all trim
IPA
Zaino Z-5
Opti-Bond Tire Gel
Alright, let's see what we got here.
Some spots required 3000 grit treatment to get things down to a polishable level. (Feel free to add "polishable" to your Firefox spell check dictionary)
Done!
There was not only no sun for final shots, there were sprinkles and very ominous clouds looming overhead. I actually didnt get things as nice as I wanted them in fear I was about to be rained on. I was only able to get 2 coats of Zaino on before the skies let loose.
And here's what it looked like as I delivered it to the owner.:aww:
On a side note, check the beading on the hood. :chuckle:
Thanks for looking!
