I've got a 02 elantra GT and it had some paint work done before I got it and the half assed body shop that did the work did a pretty good job on the paint but when they buffed out the paint they did not tape off the rubber molding around the windows. This rubber is a weird type of rubber and now it has a white almost burnt in color to it then no apc or cleaner will take out. So my question is since I can not remove this I am looking for a dressing that will cover it so it is no so noticable?
I have a few trim products back to black, megs #40, 303, black magic tire gel. Would any of these hide this problem or can you tell me something that will.
I have never ran into this type of rubber problem before usually on all the cars I deal with I can clean the rubber really good to the point of it looking almost new again then just use a light dressing on it.
Thanks for the help,
