hello everyone, my first time posting pics here. heres a car I did with minor scratches, I just wanted to give it a quick cleanup w/o going all out. Car was filthy with snow salt all caked up. there are still some minor swirles, and some holograms that I couldnt remove completely yet. they were caused by a wool bonnet using OP. I tried using a white pad with OP but to no avail yet. ANY SUGGESTIONS? maybe orange pad with OP?:nixweiss



Process was wash with megs calif gold wash, then polish using op and white pad all via rotary 1200rpms

any tips n suggestions on removing the grams, let me know. thanks.

The PC will be the key to removing the holograms left by the rotary. The car looks very nice overall.
 
Hondas usually have pretty soft paint and a pc will do a great job. On oxidized scratched surfaces I usually will use a yellow lc pad with a swirl remover polish. Use anything like OP, ssr2.5, xmt3, presta ultra cutting creme light, menzerna polishes, ZPC, ZAIO, etc...



Then follow up with a LC white pad and a finish polish.

Maybe if you had included some "befores" we would be able to see the improvement, however right now all we can see is half completed job

However you are posting pictures, in the "click and brag" section, of a half-completed detail and looking for positive comments.

Hey man that car could have been nothing but a bunch of swirls and your work might have made it look millions of times better, however as I said before we have absolutely no basis of comparison.

Finish the job and you might get some props.
 
dude it looks beautiful already on some parts for sure man once you finish that id have to say it'll be perfectt. keep up the good work. dont let dumb people on message boards bug you ;).
 
Finish it out with a PC and I bet it will look even better. The paint has a decent shine right now but once the holograms are gone, there will be a noticable improvement.

I am another detailer on this board offering my opinions and thoughts about the work that you did.

You seem to feel the need to post up your negative commentary about many subjects, the weather dicussion today in the shoutbox, other peoples work, and I suppose chiefly among them, your judgement that my Fiance is only "allright" from my thread in the click and brag about her new car in which I also included a picture of her.

In my estimation you talk a big game but don't have the skills necessary to back up the things you say.
 
^&04types, you really need to check your attitude at the door. I got complaints about you and your attitude and neither one belong here.
