01 740i sport beading shots (z5, lots of pics)

I found these on my hard drive, they were taken a year ago I think, but they were just some random photos taken after a wash, 2 coats of z5, that's it. It makes the anthracite color look really good!

it was our s2k, it was an 01, prior to that we had a 00, both new formula red (boring in my opinion). They were both my mom's. We put a comptech header and icebox intake on it, it was a fun car. We just recently sold it though, and she got a new tl. The 7 is my dad's. I detail them all though :p
 
Lookin good...Love that E39 body style, especially with the M-Sport rims.



I've had nice luck with Zaino beading as well...Any dry shots :D?
 
Nice lookin' 7! That's my favorite body for those cars and it's (arguably) the last of the good lookin' Bimmers!

Yeah my dad really doesnt like the new e65's much, and has always been partial to this style. I like em both though, but it seems like the new 7's are a lot bigger.

I agree with you guys about the BMW E38's! (7 series up to 2001)



Here is a pic of my 2001 740i Sport when I purchased it in Nov. of 2003 with just 20k miles on it! I have changed the springs to the UUC springs and it sits 1.4 inches lower in front and 1.5 inches in the rear. I'll post some pics when we get another sunny day here in Santa Barbara.

Nice e38!! I'll have to show my dad what they look like with no front plate, ive been trying to convince him, but he likes his personalized one.



How do you like the UUC springs? Ours pictured above is lowered with h&r sports. Looks like our rear might sit a little lower, front looks about the same. I noticed quite an improvement over the sport package setup. Eventually we will do bilstein's as well.

Just found the specs on mine. 1.3 inch drop in the front, .6 in the rear. The other ones you can buy 1.9 in the front and 1.3 in the rear. Ours sits right on the tires lowered .6 in the rear, so that must be pretty insane.

The pic I posted of my E38 does not have the UUC springs installed. It does sit lower than that pic for sure. I will post some new pics when the sun comes out hopefully within the next week or so.
