My gf bought her bike today so of course we had to clean it up. First time washing and detailing bike for me. Used #9 by hand and #83 on some tougher spots, sanded down and polished the exhaust piping (It was pretty rusty, cant see it really in the pics), polished all plastics and signals etc etc, then waxed with S100.

Undoubtedly it has, the EX250 or Baby Ninja as it is often referred as is a very common beginners bike. There are only two kinds of riders, those who have dropped their bike and those that will drop their bike :D It is practically impossible to find a used EX250 that hasn't been dropped at some point.

I used to have a bike myself but, after becoming an ER doc, never ever again. Becareful and for heavens sake, where all the apprpriate riding gear!!!

Nice detail job. Put a helmet on that girl of yours! As a bike crash victim I have a "thing" for helmets. I kept mine after the crash. ER guys and Ambulanc eguys said it was the only thing that saved me.

(100% no fault btw, yahoo on his cell phone blasted a stop sign. Hit me with an F250. Nothing I could do)

Yea, not only are many drivers bad drivers even if you are in a full-sized vehicle, but they especially do not see motorcycles. Tell her to watch out out there.

Thanks guys, yeah shes taking courses right now and shes got all her gear already, boots, pants, jackets, gloves, helmets heh. I even picked up one on sale, not really for riding, but for Autocross and drifting, but I can say I ride ;)

Definitely rock full gear and be safe!

I use to ride, wrecked my last bike.

Leather jacket, gloves, and full face helmet. Went down at like 45 mph, and walked away. Thank God for gear. My legs have a couple scuffs, but the gear saved me. Kept my face pretty for my girl. =)
