Is it unusual for car care products (i.e. waxes, polishes, tire/trim dressing) to cause an oily sheen to puddle around car after rain or wash? I don't detect any oil leaks, but the oily rainbow effect constantly has me looking for them.

What's your opinion on using these to apply Meguiar's Ultimate Polish, and Ultimate Wax? The store was out of the yellow foam pads, but I do have the black Meguiar's pad that came with a different Meguiar's product. Thanks.
