'02 Camaro ... Merry Christmas Dad

Well, since I had some time off as I am going between two commands (Navy) I was able to come home to Texas. Well, I decided to treat my dad's car (and my dad) to a 2 step polish. This car is a Daily Driver with 106K miles on it. My dad and I together spent 12 hours, so around 24 man-hours...

    Burning Paint with PC 7424

Is it possible to burn the paint with it? I was just using it on my black car, and unfortunately it was in the sun. I was using a blue pad with PO 85RD. I managed to get a quarter size wrinkle/hole in the paint. Is this possible with just the PC, or could a defect in the paint be an...

    Which LSP and why?

Which one do you use and why? Are higher end carnauba's like Fuzion, Souveran, and SSII recommended for daily drivers? Or would it better to get something like Megs NXT 2.0? I don't mind less durability, but I also want to get good protection after polishing. I notice the different...

    Hello from SC

Just found this site through a google search on auto detailing. Decided to join to get some info on detailing cars. Currently on an intensive detail, I start with Megs Scratch X, go to Cleaner Wax, and then Gold Class. All done by hand. I am contemplating getting a DA polisher (Porter...
