I have a 02 Acrua RSX, Its Nighthawk black peral. I work at a dealer ship as a porter so I keep the car clean. I wash it at least twice with a new microfiber towel everytime. It has some swirls but nothing to extreme. I would do it but don't have the time, materials or the confidence right now...
