    Peeling Wheel Wells, help.

Was washing the car today and was hosing off one of my wheel wells. At first I thought it was mud, but as I sprayed it with a tight stream from the hose the stain got bigger. I realized at that point that the black was coming off. This car is barely 9 months old. Should this be happening...

    Polish on Plastics?

I always thought that was a no-no. Isn't that why the plastic trim is taped off? But lately I have been seeing a lot of threads about people using their PC's with Polish on everything from headlights and taillights to side view mirrors with good results. How can this be accomplished...

    Different Polishes on Same Pad?

Let's say I am using an orange pad with Optimum Polish and want to bump it up to Optimum Compound, can I use the same pad or do I need an unused pad? I know not to mix waxes and polishes on the same pads, but I was wondering how this applied to polishes and compounds alone.

Did I burn my paint? Pics..

Started with a 6 1/2 inch white pad with Optimum polish at 6, nothing. So I moved up to a green pad with Optimum Compound 4 inch at 6. All of a sudden I see this in two spots... Did I just burn my paint? It seems almost raised and it feels like an orange. Can it be fixed?

I taped off my girlfriends trunk last week and tested out the porter cable 7424. I started out with the orange pad at speed 5 and worked the compound (CG Medium Compound) until only a slight haze remained. Then I surveyed how many scratches and swirls I removed. Not too many, so I did another...

    Couple Polishing Questions..

I am planning on buying an orbital polisher and have a few questions. I recently (last week) clayed, polished (color-x) and waxed (NXT) my girlfriends car. Now, this was all by hand mind you and I removed only a tenth of the scratches and swirls that are on it. Well, if I get this...

Well, here is the deal. My car isn't dirty, there isn't anything that needs to be cleaned on the interior. But it just smells stale. What do you guys use when detailing cars to give it a nice fresh scent? PS - I hate the smell of those dangling air fresheners.
