My wife is getting me the 7424 for my birthday next month. As a new user - I wonder if the Edge pads are too much for my limited detailing abilities. The price, of course, is a little higher, but I'm not sure if I can justify it being so new.

What do you guys think? Is NXT a bad idea to put on top of duragloss #601 / #105. It seems like I heard that NXT has cleaning properties that could strip the duragloss.

I thought some members might like to see some of what we deal with during a routine shift in Highway Patrol. I would agree speed, in and of itself doesn't cause accidents, but it certainly makes them worse. These stops were almost back to back on Interstate 20.

I bought Meguairs NXT tech wax today from autozone. I washed my trooper car with meguairs gold class carwash, dried it, then proceeded to use the meguairs wax. I had previously clayed the car and used megauirs gold class wax. Anyhow, when I went to remove the nxt wax, it left a TERRIBLE haze...
