Optimum Power Clean as a possible P21s TAW replacement?

I was wondering if anyone has tried Optimum Power Clean on paint as a possible P21s TAW replacement? I haven't tried OPC before, but if it's like any of the other Optimum products I've tried, it should live up to its claims. On their website they state: Any user feedback? Thanks Dave

    Menzerna PO106FF vs PO106FA opinions . . .

I managed to purchase a bottle of 106FA and try it out side by side on some hard Audi paint. Visually, both the 106FF and FA appear identical except the FF seemed a bit more viscous. Using both polishes on the metabo with a white LC CCS pad, the FA provided a longer working time than FF and the...

Anyone else notice that the Schmitt is hard on LSPs?

I've used my schmitt for over 20 washes now and have a good feel of how to properly use it with the foam gun & etc. When new, the schmitt did induce significant micromarring, but as it softened up the marring was less (after a good polish). Anyways I had the suspicion that the schmitt might not...

    touchup123.com, anyone ordered from them?

I have to say that this is the worst online ordering experience I have had with any company. Their website states 3-5 days for the order to ship. On the 5th day, i called . . . of course there was no answer, nor a response to my email. Eventually they responded 8 days after i purchased the...

How does Powergloss compare to Super Intensive Polish? (3.01)

Helped detail a 2001 Santorin Blue Audi this weekend and there were several marring / scratches that wouldn't come out even with the rotary with IP or PO106FF on an orange LC pad. Looking at purchasing either powergloss or the SIP, but am not sure how each of them stand relative to one another...

Preferred waxes (to top werkstatt) for solid red paint?

The vehicle in question is my 2006 Audi A3 in Brilliant Red. I've used multiple sealants on the paint, and none seem to give the same amount of depth as the cheap 3m wax I originally put on the vehicle when I first purchased it. The sealants I've used are: KAIO & KSG, topped with 3m wax...

Anyone use Danase 5.25" CCS pads on a rotary?

Tried out the LC 7.5" CCS pads this weekend and wasn't very impressed with the curved pad. Absolutely love the 4" CCS pads and am now debating between a 6.5" pad or something a bit smaller to use as a primary pad. Any suggestions are welcome! Dave

    Sonus Gray vs Green Clay

Not sure why my original post was moved to the autopia carcare forum, since it is a discussion of the two products. Anyways here is a repost of the other thread. I've been using Sonus green clay for quite awhile and love it, except that it tends to break down and isn't very aggressive. I...
