    Small space heater + Leatherique = ????

I’m planning on treating my leather seats with leatherique. I was thinking of leaving the cleaner on overnight with a small space heater in the car. I would plan to keep the sunroof cracked so it wouldn’t get too hot in there. I’d rather have the car sit overnight and get to work on it...

    My ScratchX success!

I drive a 1998 BMW 323is in Avus Blue Metallic. I bought it about 2 months ago with 101k miles. The previous owner kept it in immaculate condition (lucky me!!!). To make a long story short, there was an "incident" with a satellite radio antenna that left a large blemish on the trunk lid...

Can I "restore" my MF towels?

I have some nice MF towels that I am very careful with. I also have a giant pile of cheap ones that I use for interior cleaning and cleaning other stuff around the house. Many of the cheap ones have just been thrown in the wash with the regular laundry and dried at regular heat with fabric...

Got the car done in 25 minutes, including filling up the bucket. I don't think I'll ever get the hose out to wash the car again.

    Coleman 6" Orbital polisher

I got a Coleman polisher/buffer like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=42266&item=4345544079&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW for Xmas. It came with a terry bonnet and a synthetic wool bonnet. I think I'll go ahead and skip those and get some decent MF bonnets to use...

    Primer overspray on rubber trim

My car was repainted recently. There is primer overspray on the rubber trim around the rear window. This makes the trim look white in certain areas. I can't even scrape it off with my finger nail or anything. Any ideas how I can get this off without tearing up the trim?

    Dirt on fake chamois

I use a synthetic chamois to dry my car after washing. Sometimes it picks up dirt from accidentally rubbing under a wheel well or inside one the holes in the front bumper. This leaves black streaks on the chamois that I cannot get out. Aside from being more careful, is there anything I...

Car in the paint booth this week, what to do when it's out?

My car is getting a total respray this week. Beyond the manufacturers curing guidelines, what initial steps should I take to ensure a good shine from the start?

    Carpet cleaning idea

I have some extremely stubborn stains on my car's interior carpet. I've had no luck trying to scrub them out with a myriad of cleaners. I was thinking of just taking the carpet out of the car (this would only take about 20 minutes) and having it professionally steam cleaned like the carpet...
