Gonna correct 2008 Tacoma for a friend. It's white and has never been polished and I believe 2500 on an orange pad will do the job. However, do you guys considered this paint on the hard or soft side. I've worked only on my stuff and this would be a good practice job for me. Any suggestion...

Any of you all use the Montana boar's hair brush to wash your entire vehicle? I've have a couple of larger vehicles and climbing around to get the top is getting harder for me. I was thinking about using the one with the larger head with a handle. Thanks

I just ordered Megs 205 and it will be my first time using it. I'm using a 3401 and work areas of approx. 2x2'. I understand that it will work longer than 105; do you guys use a mist of water when using 205?? Thanks

I just went over my truck which was in terrible shape using a 3401 and Meg's 105. It cleaned up all the scratches and swirls really well. I've been working in the garage with fluorescent and halogen lights and it looked really nice but the sun showed the micro-marring. I'm in the learning...

I've been using my Flex for a couple of months and I've seen some threads on lubricating the felt ring. I've not done that. Can someone help me tell me what exactly I need to do?? Thanks

When using the Flex 3401 and compound such as Meg 100 or 105 what speed would you guys recommend? I think I read that Todd suggested 3-4 setting for 205 or any finishing polish. Am I in the ball park on this. Thanks

I would like to use 4" and 5" pads on my Flex 3401. Has anyone used the Flex changeable backing system? Wondering if it is a quality item and would you need to change the counter weight? I'm new to polishing and the forum. I really appreciate all the info.

New to detailing. I'm working on my 2nd project now. Got interested in detailing over at Adams polishes. Thought I might try Meguiar's 105 along with their products and found this forum. There seems to be a lot of really good info on not only what to use but also the why's.
