I have a few little scratches on my head lights that I would like to get out. What would be the best way to do this without damaging like a protective coating on the outside? Im guessing wet sanding with really high grit paper but let me know. They are clear besides a few minor small scratches.

Probably going to purchase some Meguiars Swirl Remover for some minor swirls on a few cars. Would you recommend doing anything besides claying and washing before doing this with a PC and Meguiars Swirl Remover and then maybe follow up with some type of hand wax and sealant and quick detailer...
