Guys, are all single stage paints by definition base coats mixed in with clear? Or are there some SS paints that have no CC at all? Im wondering specifically about Honda's Tafetta white.

Is it necessary to give the paint a wash after polishing? Can a sealant like AIO be added right after polishing? Does it depend on the polish? I'm doing a beige C230 this weekend and I'm going to use Optimum polish for the first time. I've used SSR2 before and AIO right after and havent seen...

Did a quick on one my own car. Hope you enjoy. Process was: wash clay Poorboys SSR1 applied with orange Sonus DAS pad Klasse AIO applied with blue Sonus DAS pad Thats it. I think I'll do a coat of SG this weekend, but I was happy with these results.

I'm doing a White 02 Civic, and I dont think the paint has ever been touched since the factory. I've got rust spots on every horziontal surface, and claying isnt getting rid of them (didnt think it would) Any ideas?? Will polishing remove them? HELP! Take a look:

Currently I have S100 on top of several layers of Z2. I just ordered a bottle of AIO to try it out. Can I apply AIO with a PC without having to strip the S100 and Z2? I just recently clayed, so I dont need to do that again. So, just wondering if I can get good results going this route...
