Right now I'm using a cheapo wheel cleaner purchased at AutoZone months ago but it says "Safe for all wheels",but now I bought a new car with aluminum wheels coated/painted and I was looking for a nicest tire/wheel combo just to be on the safer side.

Haven't detailed in 2-3 years,kinda rusty now.I'm planing on detailing my Jeep Cherokee 2000 engine.
1- Do I need to cover any electronics ?
2- I want to get a steam cleaner ( Any good one out there ?)
3- Engine degreaser (Could you suggest one ) ?
4 - Any steps to follow ...
Well I have no clue on what to cover leave it open, wet it not wet it etc... Meg's APC woulkd be a good choice or do I need a dedicated engine cleaner ?
Do I cover with Aluminun foil,plastic bags ?
How do I rinse ? Blasting pressure water,moderate ?

1 - Washing with Meg's Gold Class 2 bucket method
2 - Claying with Mother's Bar and DP Universal Clay Lubricant.
3 - Wash again
4 - Paint cleaner with Meg's MPPC
5 - SSR2
6 - Meg's Glaze
7 - Meg's Gold Class Wax
SSR2 won't be in every detail,just when needed it.

Not a scratch,looks like a dry white paint,that was sprayed on the wheel,it's almost in the middle so I don't what could be ? Sorry for the bad pictures I was using a camera phone.

It's a Jeep Grand Cherokee, under the rear bumper also in the fender as well,I've tried Mother's Clay System and MPPC with a polishing pad,but I just can't get that OFF.
Am I doing something wrong ? Should I try something else ?

I just order SSR1 & SSR2 I also got Meg's MPPC/Glaze/Wax
Just want to know if this is right,I'm planing on using in this order:
1 - Wash with Meg's Gold Class
2 - Clay with Mother's Clay bar System
3 - MPPC
4 - SSR1 or and SRR2
5 - Maybe Glaze if not too tired...
6 - Meg's Gold Class...

It will be a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2000 wheels looks good from outside,but dirty inside.
I've never done before,should I pay attention to any specific area concerning car safety ? I will be removing all 4 wheels.

My Jeep 2000 GC is in rough shape,basically It needs clay, swirll marks removal,glaze,wax etc...
Just the outside,inside is clean.
