so i wanted to clean up my foggy headlight and i read that some used sandpaper 1000 grit and 2000 grit and some plastic polish and it cleared them up, so i go to try it and i wet sanded with both sandpapers with a mixture of dawn and water, when i started the light fogged up alot but i figured...

before i clay my car should i wash the car with car soap, or dish soap like dawn, ive read diffrent things diffrent places im not not sure wats best? i wanna make sure i get all the old wax off so i can start with a clean slate :) thanks

prep and polish application?? how do u apply the prep coat and polish, like wax?? or do u just rub it into the paint?? thnks

well im going to detail my car soon and i got this 3 step system from meguires and im not sure about applying the 3 diffrent layers. Should i allow any time for drying in between coats, any help would be appreciated thanks

I recently got my car and the previous owner had changed one headlight and now the old one looks really ugly and you can really tell how cloudy and yellow it is... is there any way to clean the old one so it matches the new one....thanks
