    BOSS Foam System-4 year Update

I broke out the BOSS cannon for the first time this year. I have my original cannon and it still works perfectly, using Griots Surface Wash and Polygloss. I did do a bucket wash, ( Ultimate Paint Guard Wash ) between the Surface and Polygloss. Very little dirt in the bucket after the Surface...

Clay Storage (or Don`t Store Sonax Clay Wet)

I went to use my grey Sonax clay today and it didn`t go as planned. I had a like-new piece, (from May 2021) that I stored in an old Griot`s clay jar. I stored it wet, with my regular Nanoskin clay lube. Not paying attention, I discovered it was disintegrating as I used it on the hood. Being...

    Skipped The Dealer Prep-(Update w/Pics)

I`m not a photographer, so be kind:) Used the BOSS cannon,Surface Wash, and Polygloss. Due to the FK1000p, I had a hard time getting the wash and Gloss to even stick to the car.

    Skipped the Dealer Prep-Wise Decision

Got my new Scat Pack 2 weeks ago. I had the dealer skip the new car prep inside and out. Best thing I ever did. It came by truck and the only transport plastic was on the wheels. As the ABC isn`t available in gallons yet, I tried some Griot`s Iron remover in random areas. No reaction from...

New Car Transport Wrap Removal- DYI?

I`m hoping to get my new flivver in 2 weeks, (according to Dodge). I`ve been mulling the thought of removing the transport wrap myself. Is this something I can do myself, or would it be wise to let the dealer do it? If it`s a b-buster, I`ll let them handle it. They already have...

Valugard ETR for New Car Exterior Trim Preservation

There`s plenty of threads on restoring old exterior trim. I couldn`t find any on preserving trim on a new car. As I`ll be ordering the ABC from Valugard tomorrow, I was wondering if their ETR would be good to prevent, (actually slow) the deterioration. They`re claiming 3 years of protection...

    Is ValuGuard ABC Still Available?

I`m getting a new car by the end of May, (if all goes well at the factory). I was going to order the ABC, but the valuguard.net website is gone, replaced by some Microsoft international ad page. If they`re only available to the trade now, I`ll have to re-think my plan. Are there any viable...

    On The Go De-Ionizer-First Use

Used it for the first time today. It was 80 degrees, full sun, at noon. I washed both cars, (Torred Dodge and Casium blue Jaguar). I have a pressure washer, and used the BOSS cannon. They were both filthy and I had to use a mitt on them. I Surface Washed the cars, rinsed, then used the Poly...

    Whip`s Wax Salt Remover-Excellent Stuff

I finally got around to trying my Whip`s Wax Salt Remover. I sprayed it on a salt-encrusted car, let it dwell for 30 seconds. The salt just melted right off, no issues. It`s a refreshing change to have a product that actually does what the manufacturer claims. I would definitely buy it again.

Ryobi Pressure Washer on Sale at Home Depot

The little guy is on sale again for $99.00. I love mine. It`s perfect for washing cars. Small, light and won`t tip over. I copied this from 9 to 5 Toys: This Ryobi 1800 psi pressure washer is lightweight and compact, making it easy and comfortable to move around your house. With its powerful...

    Whip`s Wax Salt Remover

Since I live in an area that has the philosophy of "one inch of salt for one inch of snow",I`m probably going to give this stuff a try this year. I`ll use it prior to using the touchless wash. I`ve seen some videos and thought,"why not?". Another Black Friday purchase.:)

    Are Daily Drivers Three-Footers?

After battling daily dew-induced water spots,I`ve resigned myself to having my daily driver being a three-footer. I have to admit, from 3 feet, it does look great. I get tons of compliments, even from strangers.

How Do You Dew?- or Mother Nature is Still the Boss

After trying to remove a thick layer of dew, I`ve given up. I made four passes using four large, dry PFM towels and it still came back, fogging immediately.
