i have #26 on my new honda civic, and have had it on for over a month. I just got blackfire in the other day, and im wondering what products should i clean my paint with to get off the wax without damaging the paint(im a lil skeptical to washing with dishwashing liquid bc i think it will hurt...

i notice all the pro detailers wash their car with dawn, but why do you guys wash with dishwashing liquid? I've been told time after time not to wash with dishwashing soap bc it not only removes wax but it produces oxidation. Is there something im missing, or am i just being told lies?:nixweiss

Just thought id add this thread to see what all you car enthusiasts use to keep your car looking good between washing and waxing. Im using the eagle one wet wipe and shine and i it does a great job at keeping the surface clean and slick while showing the gloss of #26 on my paint.

ok, ive tried out the eagle one wash and i thought it did a great job at cleansing. Had lots of suds and only had to add an ounce per gallon of water. However, do you guys think gold class or that zymol wash is any better than the eagle one wet?

i have some meguiar foam pads that i use to polish and wax my car with(hand applicator pads). It says they are machine washable, but what other ways do you guys clean your pads so they can be used on another vehicle?

is it just me, or does meguiars polisher look exactly like the pc 7424? it seems to me they just badged their name on the polisher and charge an extra $100. Anyone have the lowdown on this?
