A friend of mine asked me this... how abrasive (relative to other detailing products) is TW rubbing compund and polishing compound? He bought the little tubs at meijer and tried to fix a spot on his mirror that rubbed again the garage. He started with polishing compound and got no where, then...

I wouldn't rub my car with gas before detailing each time... what is wrong with this person? Wouldn't gas strip oils from teh paint as well??? thoughts, comments?

I know I may get yelled at for this, but I got a Craftsman 10" random orbital buffer on sale. I have the applicator pads, terry cloth pads, and a polishing bonnet with it. I want to use it when using S100 SEC and S100. I was particularly planning on using it to get the S100 wax off after...
