    While checking out Blackfire Wet Diamond on the TOL site I came across this under the heading "hand application tips": "Buff off briskly, using a terry towel (microfiber removes wax)" Never heard that microfiber did that. WT*??? :nixweiss

    Need One Step Advice

    I'm familiar with two and three step corrections, but have not done a one step yet. I'm doing a car for a friend that just wants his car to shine...no correction wanted. The victim is a silver 10 year old A6. I'm thinking 205/white pad/Flex DA. Any suggestions?

    Would Steam Help?

    A 335i BMW that I work on occasionally has baked on brake dust on the wheels that I haven't been able to remove with cleaners or clay bar. Would a steamer be of any use to help clean up ?

    TOL Prep Wash

    This looks like another good addition to my already too large inventory. Aside from removing oils from compounding, it looks like a good pad cleaner as well. Does anyone use it for that? What dilution? Also....is it safe to use on textured trim to remove wax residue?

    QD After UPGP

    Some people have mentioned that going over cured UPGP with a qd can clean up any streaks and bring up the gloss a bit. Will any good qd like FK425 or CK's QS work, or do I specifically need to use Ultima's detail spray?

    Old M105

    I seem to remember that adding one of the Optimum polishes to 105 can extend it's working time. I was trying out 105 today for the first time (mine has been on the shelf for almost a year), and found that drys quickly. What mix ratio should I use? Thnx!

    Labels?

    I am wondering what other people use to label thier spray bottles ? I have been using Avery labels and just print up whatever I need. Problem is that if it gets wet, then it starts peeling off or the ink starts to run. Any ideas?

    I have just ordered ONR for the first time. I have a few customers with BMW's and one Benz that typically have a lot of brake dust adhearing to the wheels. Can I expect ONR to cut the dust, or will I need something stronger?

    Flex 3401 Speeds

    Does anyone know how the Flex speed settings compare with rotary speeds? I will be using my Flex with 1Z pasta intensive which works best around 1000 rpm on a rotary. Wondering what the equivalent setting on the Flex would be?
