I don't mind a little glaze now and then

don't have time for a full polish or even a 1 stepper. so last night, I gave the DD a wash, applied RMG via LC black pad, and then a coat of Souveran ontop. I know the board tends to focus on correction, but gotta love taking it old skool sometimes. Hell, I've even used glaze and then a soft...

Black WOW - long term feedback

I've used it somewhat extensively last season and am planning to give it a go . Initial impressions when it's on its that its a bit too glossy. After a wash or wipedown, it's perfect. I'm still 50/50 on the durability of this. Even prepping the trim (prepsol, steam cleaner), even thinking...

So what's your take on clearbra

I've had clearbras on various of my vehicles. I love the protection, hate the looks. And these are topdollar installs, my guys removes headlights, grills, etc - tucks them in, etc. Paint get's polished to a glisten before they even start the clearbra. Taking delivery of new ride and I'm...

    RMG and what topper

I'm planning to do a mini prepolish on the DD. Jet black with more induced winter marring this season. No point in doing full polish due to our lovely upcoming pollen season. I'm leaning on a combo of a slight filler polish . I have not used Collonite in warmer months so I'm not sure how it...

Steam Cleaning Leather - Curveball Question

I've used the Steam Cleaner tons of times.....and generally on leather seats, I will use the triangle head and a MF ontop to clean them down. On this particular applications, it's beige leather and it looks well maintained just short of the drivers side bolster area - which is inevitable...

UTTGP - product life / seperation of product

I was going through my product and noticed that my bottle of UTTGP has settled. I have given it a vigorous thorough shaking of the bottle to redistribute the product but either it has settled to the point of no return, but it's just clumpy .....after shaking. Anyone else experiencing this...

    Heavy Metal Polish

Anyone else using this line. Recently got a mailer in the mail advising me that ownership changed hands. Flitz has been my backup (multiple tubes of this) in addition to other misc other metal polishes I've tested and tried throughout the years. After using heavy metal polish, I stopped using...

grrrr....it's now officially ONR time and I'm hesitent

for all the accolade of positive reviews and experiences with ONR on the forum, I for one am still VERY hesitant about using ONR. There is not really a local powerwash facility near me or brushless which I would consider as a 1st prewash/prerinse prior to ONR. And as much as the majority of...

Undercarriage Dressings - Very Very Greasy....

I've used the Griots variant in the past and am currently using the Adams' variant for my wheelwells. Love the look of them but man, that god I'm applying this stuff with the car parked on the street. You should see the runnoff/spots in leaves even on black tar / aspahalt roads... I can...

Does glaze help to prevent water staning

My DD was recently repainted - hood, rear bumper and front fenders were blended in. I was originally just using glaze as a topper and totally fell off the roadmap on the reapplication. Before I know it, winter will be here and I will just be colloniting it anyways. My issue hower is water...

Who here has thermaled your 3404 ?

See alot of regulars have the 3403 - Sbee, Gmblack, etc. Just got around to using my 3403 yesterday. Using a light polishing pad and 106, the damm thing was going thermal by the time I was done on 1/2 a panel. I couldn't even do the hood without it going thermal on me 2X. Suffice to say...

What's your method on polishing PPF Film to the Edge

It's time consuming but I generally tape to the edge with 1/16+ overlap on the film and then do the film. Vice vesa, tape on the film with 1/16" overlap on the paint. Remove tape and then very gently, get the gap in between. Curious what your methods are....

Do you trim your neighbors bush

In honor of pats thread - http://www.autopia.org/forum/hot-tub/92988-freak-neighbor.html Just wanted to rant. My neighbors bushes have completely gone past our line and I kindly suggested that whenever she has a moment, she could feel free to come on over to ~our side~ and deal with all her...

If you had only one sealant to buy, which one and why.....

Detail on the daily drivers coming up. They see, sun, salt, rain and snow depending on which season I'm in ;-) I want to add another sealant to my stash and am undecided between Zaino, UPGP and JW Acrylic. I'm inclined on buying Z5 & ZFX BUT as a previous Z user who had ZFX dry up on me...

Mothers QD - what does it smell like

In my quest to use up products that have been sitting on the shelf .....ie, Mothers QD. Just used it today as a wet as u dry lubricant....in between the Noreasters we've been getting , and the 2 DD that were nice and clean. Maybe the product is well past it prime, but it had a hideous rotten...
