Any way that this product could fade the black plastic on a car? This product seems to be rather strong.

Are the 4 Inch pads that are used via a dual-action polishers like the Porter Cable 7424 intended to be used to apply product to the entire vehicle or just for concentrating on small spots? I like using my Porter Cable, but don't really like to apply product using the larger pads.
